Uses
Moisturizing cream combining D-panthenol for skin repair and hydration with Nigella sativa (black seed) oil for its soothing and antioxidant properties. Used for dry, sensitive, or mildly irritated skin.
Do not use if
Hypersensitivity to panthenol, Nigella sativa, or any component of the formulation. Not for use on infected skin wounds.
Side effects
Generally well tolerated. Rare hypersensitivity or contact dermatitis reactions to Nigella sativa or other components may occur in susceptible individuals.
Warnings
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Perform a patch test before widespread use if hypersensitivity to plant-derived oils is suspected.
How it works
D-panthenol (provitamin B5) is converted in skin to pantothenic acid, which is essential for tissue repair and hydration. Nigella sativa seed oil contains thymoquinone and fatty acids that exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and emollient properties, contributing to skin barrier support.
