Used for hypertension, heart failure, and reduction of cardiovascular risk after myocardial infarction.
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to valsartan and during pregnancy. Avoid combination with aliskiren in diabetic patients.
Hypotension, dizziness, hyperkalemia, fatigue, and renal function impairment may occur.
Can cause fetal harm, hyperkalemia, hypotension, and renal impairment.
Angiotensin II receptor blocker that lowers blood pressure and reduces cardiovascular stress.
