Used for functional dyspepsia, delayed gastric emptying, bloating, nausea, and gastrointestinal motility disorders.
Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to itopride or conditions where increased gastrointestinal motility may be harmful.
May cause diarrhea, abdominal pain, headache, dizziness, and increased prolactin levels.
Use cautiously in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, obstruction, or perforation.
Itopride enhances gastrointestinal motility through dopamine D2 receptor blockade and acetylcholinesterase inhibition.
Store at room temperature in a dry place.
